KFC has recently introduced “Cheezy Chickaroni” to its menu. Cheezy Chickaroni consists of macaroni & cheese and chicken meatballs.

Cheezy Chickaroni is no doubt a delicious meal with macaroni rich with cheese and four chicken meatballs which greatly compliment the cheesy taste.

Great news is that Cheezy Chickaroni is now part of KFC’s “Jom Jimat” (Set E) and for only RM 5.90, you also get a glass of regular soft drink. A la carte price is RM 5.80. A note though, Cheezy Chickaroni may not be enough for the big eaters.

KFC’s Zinger Tower is the latest offering from KFC. Zinger Tower is like Zinger burger with an additional slice of fish fillet. Zinger Tower is available at RM 6.60 a la carte or at RM 15.90 combo, which comes with a regular Pepsi Max, a Mango pudding and a Zinger time watch.

Zinger Tower is not too bad, but I would still prefer the original Zinger burger at anytime because I cannot really taste the fish fillet due to the excessive taste the fried chicken fillet has which easily covers up the existence of the fish fillet.

KFC Hotrods have been invading our lives, be it through TV Commercial or Newspaper.

KFC’s Hotrods

I have to admit KFC Hotrods is pretty good — the boneless fried chicken is effortless and ready to eat, it’s not as oily and it’s succulent. However, the KFC Hotrods is not as pretty as the advertisement. In fact, the chicken is not nearly as rounded as the one featured in the advertisement.

Worse still, we were made to wait for at least 20 minutes in KFC Aeon Bukit Tinggi. Perhaps, it’s the negligence of the staff because we saw other customers who came after us received their Hotrods before us. This is not the first time, Malaysian restaurant gives us a bad impression — another restaurant in AEON Bukit Tinggi have earlier gave me us really bad experience.

KFC’s Nasi Lemak Enak Breakfast

Nasi Lemak Enak is surprisingly delicious, the only thing missing is peanuts, a nasi lemak can’t do without peanuts. Somehow, its fragrant rice and delicious but spicy sambal make up for it and add on a piece of Original Recipe fried chicken, the meal is perfect.

This Ramadan, KFC has come out with a Festive Combo where you’ll get 2 pieces of chicken (Spice Crunch or Original), 1 colonel chicken rice and 1 regular rose syrup (sirap bandung).

KFC has recently come out with Colonel Chicken Rice Combo which consists of 1 Colonel Chicken Rice, 2 pieces chicken, 1 chicken meatball soup, 1 (R) carbonated drink. The Colonel Chicken Rice uses fragrant rice just like your local chicken rice shop.

Except the chicken meatball soup which is too salty, the rice is quite edible, really. Colonel Chicken Rice Combo is the same price as your regular Snack Plate which the only difference is the coleslaw and whipped potato and a bun which is replaced with the Colonel Chicken Rice.

KFC has recently come out with Triple XL Burger, and although it’s not really that huge, 7-inch is like slightly bigger than those 6-inch burgers in Subway. Somehow, it tastes extremely good.

The interior of KFC Pavilion KL is astonishing

The combo set is quite worth it compared to the RM 6.60 ala carte because you also get the soft drink and a dessert, which is an ice-cream cup (Vanilla Orange).
