Uncle ‘K’ Special Kemaman Coffee

Uncle ‘K’ Special Kemaman Coffee is true to its name — special and has a mesmerizing coffee flavor that last in your mouth after you sip it.

Overall, Uncle ‘K’ Kopitiam may be slightly overpriced for kopitiam standard but the food and coffee are definitely worth every cent.

Starbucks’ Sausage Omelette Sandwich Breakfast

Sausage Omelette Sandwich tastes almost like Sausage, Egg & Cheese Sandwich which was introduced in April 2008.

The sandwiches retail at RM 4.80. But, for a limited time, you can get the sandwich at RM 3.20 with every purchase of Tall Coffee. However, this offer is only valid in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.

Nasi Lemak Biasa is indeed biasa (ordinary) and there’s nothing to shout about. It is just mediocre and perhaps, it is better to order Set B, which consists of Roti Bakar Kaya Kampung and coffee.

warongkita’s Kopi (Panas)

Kopi (Panas) is quite mediocre as compared to Kopi Kampung (Panas) as it lacks taste and everything just doesn’t seem right.

Overall, I would recommend you to order Roti Bakar Kaya Kampung and Kopi Kampung, which in my opinion is not only wholesome but quite delightful as well.

La Cucur Express’ Nasi Lemak

Nasi Lemak in La Cucur Express is one of the best around town, especially for packed nasi lemak. The sambal is spicy and it is definitely not for those who can’t take spicy food. The rice is perfect, and sometimes, instead of boiled eggs, the nasi lemak comes with omelet eggs. The only problem is the portion of rice is quite small, maybe it’s not enough for big eaters.

La Cucur Express’ Teh Tarik

Teh Tarik tastes quite mediocre and is definitely not worth RM 2.00.

Overall, I would not mind paying RM 2.00 for the Nasi Lemak and eat it everyday for 365 days.

Nasi Kandar Zafeeras’s Roti Telur

Roti Telur at Nasi Kandar Zafeeras is quite satiating, even though I must say it is not the best roti telur I ever had. In my opinion, the best roti canai/telur is still from Penang.

Overall, the price at Nasi Kandar Zafeeras is still reasonable as compared to most places in KL and the food is decent enough.

Roti Bakar Kaya Kampung is quite good and better than I expected, even though my favorite is still Daily Express Toast Hainan.

warongkita’s Kopi Kampung (Panas)

Kopi Kampung (Panas) is also quite good. It’s almost as good as the coffee in Chinese kopitiams. And it’s only RM 2.00, considering you’ll never get anything this cheap here.

Overall, the food is quite reasonable and the price is quite reasonable as comparing to many cafés and restaurants that serve breakfast around the premise.

Swiss Oven’s Sausage & Sunny Side Up Eggs

The Sausage & Sunny Side Up Eggs includes toasted wholemeal bread and comes with a cup of coffee or tea. The sausage may be slightly oily but it’s well-cooked and perfect.

Swiss Oven’s Coffee

The Coffee comes with Sausage & Sunny Side Up Eggs as a set. Somehow, due to the fact it only comes with a packet of brown sugar, a packet of sugar and cream, the coffee is bland and tasteless. But, it’s a bargain considering the entire set is only RM 5.90. Think of it, the breakfast at Wisma UOA II’s bakery is even more expensive and it doesn’t come with coffee or tea.

Overall, the food at Swiss Oven is quite delectable and worth it. The bread and croissant are fresh from the oven.

Nasi Lemak Enak is surprisingly delicious, the only thing missing is peanuts, a nasi lemak can’t do without peanuts. Somehow, its fragrant rice and delicious but spicy sambal make up for it and add on a piece of Original Recipe fried chicken, the meal is perfect.

But, seriously, the mini version is good enough for breakfast.

Perhaps, the biggest rip off are the sandwiches as I cannot see how anyone will get satiated from the two pieces of breads cut into four tiny triangles. What’s worse, it costs the same as the other sets.
