Besides the fried rice, Restoran Studio S serves Penang Assam Laksa on every Friday.

Restoran Studio S’s Penang Assam Laksa
Penang Assam Laksa is not exactly your ordinary Penang Assam Laksa. It’s very much Malay style and taste very much different.

Restoran Studio S’s Nasi Paprik
Nasi Paprik is just nice — hot and spicy, just like the way I like it.

Restoran Studio S’s Tom Yam Soup
Tom Yam Soup is delicious and spicy and slightly sour. The soup comes with generous amounts of prawns and seafood.
Price
- Penang Assam Laksa – RM 3.00
- Nasi Paprik – RM 5.20
- Tom Yam Soup – RM 3.00
Address

Little Penang Kafe in The Curve may sound familiar, this is because it has long established itself in Suria KLCC.

Little Penang Kafe’s Chicken Nasi Lemak
Just like the restaurant’s name, little can be said of the Nasi Lemak. Sri Nirwana in Bangsar still serves the best nasi lemak so far.

Little Penang Kafe’s Assam Laksa
The Assam Laksa, however, is full of flavor — it’s sour and has a generous amount of fish meat.

Little Penang Kafe’s Sugar Cane and Cincau
The Sugar Cane drink barely tastes like those Sugar Cane drinks from the hawkers stalls. While the Cincau drink is ordinary, nothing too special about it.
Price
- Chicken Nasi Lemak – RM 9.80
- Assam Laksa – RM 9.80
- Sugar Cane – RM 3.30
- Cincau – RM 3.30

Recently, Meals Station has added several new items on its menu.

Meals Station’s Assam Laksa
Assam Laksa is one of the new items in Meals Station. The Assam Laksa in Meals Station is satisfying even though at RM 7.90, it seems a little too pricy.

Meals Station’s Mee Rebus
Mee Rebus, meanwhile, is not bad but definitely not among the best items on the menu. If you love noodles, I would still recommend Meals Station’s Curry Chicken Noodles.

Meals Station’s Orange Juice
Fresh Orange Juice surely quenches the thirst on a hot afternoon, but I think this juice needs more ice cubes.
Price
- Assam Laksa – RM 7.90
- Mee Rebus – RM 6.90
- Fresh Fruit Juice, Orange – RM 3.50

Pan Mee is located in Food Republic in Pavilion KL and serves food like pan mee dry and assam laksa among others.

Pan Mee’s Pan Mee Dry
Pan Mee Dry is true to its name — dry. The dryness of Pan Mee Dry is not too bad if you mix it with the soup that comes along with it. The overabundant of anchovies and small pieces of chicken bits overcome the dryness of the food.

Pan Mee’s Assam Laksa Penang
The Assam Laksa is delicious though it lacks the sourness most Assam Laksa has. Like the Pan Mee Dry, the fish meat is abundant and for the price of RM 6.90, it’s quite worth it.

- Pan Mee Dry – RM 6.90
- Assam Laksa Penang – RM 6.90
