Thye Hong’s Fried Carrot Cake in Food Republic, Pavilion KL is quite famous. The fried carrot cake is not bad but the fried prawn noodle is a little soggy.
The service is actually quick except there is a staff who is quite slow and very illiterate. She can’t even understand the name of the food people tries to order until the boss has to personally take the order. That’s the result of hiring foreign labors with low pay.

i’ve tried this before sometime last year, the carrot cake is so-so as compared to other places in KL…but overall is ok, coz it has generous servings of prawns.
