Special Beijing Bean Sauce Noodles is the one and only item on the item that is not spicy. After all, it stated ‘Beijing’ and not ‘Szechuan’. Somehow, Special Beijing Bean Sauce Noodles is quite sour and tastes awful.

Ants Climbing a Tree is a unique name for a bowl of glass noodles. Despite the weird name, this dish tastes so much better than the other two. It is spicy, yet delectable and at the same time, very filling.

Shredded Pork with Chili Bean & Garlic Noodles

Shredded Pork with Chili Bean & Garlic Noodles is not that bad with pieces of shredded pork mixed with chili bean. It is quite spicy though. If you don’t like spicy food, this is not for you. In fact, Szechuan food is totally not for you, if you can’t take spicy food.

White Coffee (Cold)

White Coffee (Cold) is somewhat lacking something. Perhaps, not the best to go with the spicy Szechuan food.

Iced Peach Tea

Iced Peach Tea is refreshing as it quenches the thirst for eating Szechuan food.

Overall, Jiu Jiu Szechuan Restaurant is not too bad for serving authentic Szechuan food despite the lack of authentic Szechuan flavor in some of the dishes. After all, Szechuan cuisine has four different styles separated by locations. The service is quite good, maybe because it was mid-afternoon on a relaxing Sunday, which otherwise could be different during the night.
