Sun Moulin’s Strawberry Tart
Sun Moulin’s Strawberry Tart is sinfully delicious and satiating. The generous amount of strawberries (four to be exact) on each of the tart makes it even harder to resist.

KFC in Suria KLCC has now reopened after its renovation and now serves breakfast.

Suria KLCC’s KFC is now more spacious

KFC’s Nasi Lemak Enak Breakfast
Nasi Lemak Enak is surprisingly delicious, the only thing missing is peanuts, a nasi lemak can’t do without peanuts. Somehow, its fragrant rice and delicious but spicy sambal make up for it and add on a piece of Original Recipe fried chicken, the meal is perfect.
Price
- Nasi Lemak Enak (with coffee, tea or orange juice) – RM 5.30
- Add-on 1 piece of Original Recipe Fried Chicken – RM 2.40

The Apartment Downtown in Suria KLCC serves good and yet affordable food in a really cozy environment.

The Apartment’s Cheese Platter
If you are a cheese lover, you must not miss the Cheese Platter, great as appetizer. With a selection of cheeses served with frozen grapes, this dish is definitely a refreshing way to start your dining experience. The selection of cheeses include English mature cheddar (a strong flavored hard cheese), Gouda (slightly smoked semi-hard cheese), Danish blue (soft blue cheese) and Brie (soft ripened cheese). English mature cheddar is my favorite of them all as it has as strong flavored of cheese while I don’t quite like the Danish blue.

The Apartment’s Chicken in a Bag
Chicken in a Bag is a chicken dish which consists of chicken breast with leek, cannelloni bean, new potato, whole grain mustard and cream baked in a bag. The mustard sauce simply makes this dish delicious.

The Apartment’s Seared Salmon Fillet
Seared Salmon Fillet is seared salmon on crushed new potatoes and slow roasted tomatoes, together with pesto with a sun dried tomato and oregano sauce. It is quite good, the salmon is quite fresh while the sauce makes the dish quite aromatic and warm.

The Apartment’s Banana Leaf Lemon Sole
Banana Leaf Lemon Sole is a fillet of lemon sole in a citrus-spiced coconut milk wrapped in banana leaf and baked in the oven. It comes with steam rice. Although it looks appetizing, I still prefer the salmon fillet over this. The coconut milk and the banana leaf actually make the fillet slightly soggy and lost its freshness.

The Apartment’s Iced Cappuccino
When it comes to Iced Cappuccino, I prefer Delicious’ Iced Cappuccino anytime. The Apartment’s Iced Cappuccino lacks the real cappuccino flavor as it tastes almost like drain water. Okay, maybe not that bad.

The Apartment’s Iced Chocolate
Iced Chocolate is pretty alright but when it comes to fancy places like The Apartment Downtown, one should never order gourmet coffee (and maybe chocolate) since Starbucks, Gloria Jeans, San Francisco Coffee and The Coffee Bean always have better coffees are just a few shops away. What the heck. Great food and very lovely and cozy ambiance though.
Price
- Cheese Platter – RM 23.90
- Chicken in a Bag – RM 22.90
- Seared Salmon Fillet – RM 33.90
- Banana Leaf Lemon Sole – RM 25.90
- Iced Cappuccino – RM 12.90

The Apartment Downtown in Suria KLCC is the second outlet besides The Apartment Cafe & Restaurant in The Curve. Inspired by Jamie Oliver’s cooking style, The Apartment Downtown serves mostly Mediterranean food with simplicity in mind.

The Apartment Downtown
The interior and the decoration in The Apartment Downtown is based on urban living, with lofty and spacious living in mind — The Apartment Downtown aims to create space evolves around familiarity, comfort and luxury.

While the ambiance in The Apartment Downtown is breathtaking, the same applies to the food.

Duck & Mango Salad
Duck & Mango Salad consists of fresh salad of shredded duck, mango, lemon grass, spring onion, ginger and lime leaves with Thai Nam Pla dressing. It is refreshing and at anytime, tastes like Thai’s green mango salad except that there are duck meats.

Portbello Mushroom
Portobello Mushroom as the name says is oven roasted portobello mushroom and garlic with a light drizzling of pesto. It is the perfect starter for mushroom lovers but not for everyone.

Baked Fish
Baked Fish may sound ordinary but it is a really pleasant dish. The dish is made from baked dory fish topped with cherry tomatoes with gratin mozzarella and parmesan with sauteed new potatoes. The amount of cheese is so generous, it even covers up the entire fish!

Jamie’s Duck Pasta
Jamie’s Duck Pasta is yet another duck dishes, but believe me, this is one of the best dish you can order in here. Jamie’s Duck Pasta consists of fettuccine with shredded slow-roasted duck and tomato red wine ragu, the pasta is topped with toasted pine nuts which make it so complete.

Andrew’s Pasta
If duck is not your favorite, don’t fret, you should perhaps try Andrew’s Pasta, another pasta dish. Andrew’s Pasta has sauteed new potatoes and asparagus tossed with linguine and pesto. It is slightly on the savory side, but nevertheless delicious.

Chicken with Peach & Walnut
Chicken with Peach & Walnut is roast chicken in peach and walnut sauce with mashed potatoes. It is rather surprising this dish tastes quite good.

Piquant Cream Grilled Chicken
Piquant Cream Grilled Chicken which is grilled chicken mixed with creme fraiche, mustard seed and green peppercorn with sauteed garlic spinach and dill mash is rather disappointing. Any of the grilled chicken from Secret Recipe can easily topple this dish.

Panacota, Italian Dessert
We were rather surprise we were served with complimentary dessert which were the Panacota, an Italian Dessert with Blueberry. Not too sweet and not too sour. It’s just the perfect dish to end our pleasant and wonderful meal.
Price
- Duck & Mango Salad – RM 19.90
- Portbello Mushroom – RM 21.90
- Baked Fish – RM 23.90
- Jamie’s Duck Pasta – RM 29.90
- Andrew’s Pasta – RM 18.90

Vienna soft fresh Bagels are delicious! Unlike donuts, bagels are baked and is a healthier choice, whereas donuts are deep fried. Moreover, bagels can have a wider range of flavoring from sweet to savory while donuts is mostly sweet flavored (if you haven’t realized).

Vienna soft fresh Bagels in a fancy box
The box for orders of 3 donuts and above comes in a fancy shape that lets you carry them home!

(From left) Double Nutz, Le Chocolat Fromage and Italiano
Double Nutz is covered with peanut butter with ground peanuts while Le Chocolat Fromage is covered with dark chocolate with grated parmesan cheese and Italiano contains sliced pepperonies with shredded romanos!
All of them are wholesome and delicious, especially when they are out hot from the oven!
Vienna soft fresh Bagels is located on the 3rd floor of Suria KLCC, just outside TGV Cinema.
And lastly, there are 25 flavors to choose from! Go spoil yourself!

Rama 9 which has extended its fusion Thai food to Pavilion KL also has a stall in Suria KLCC.

Rama 9′s Chicken Cashew Rice
Chicken Cashew Rice has nice offering in terms of the chicken and the cashew nuts. However, the rice seemed too hard, maybe slightly overcooked.
Its Green Curry Chicken Spaghetti offered at Pavilion KL is not too bad, but don’t bother to try Chicken Cashew Rice unless there are no other food available.

Dome Cafe has always been my favorite cafe and restaurant. Besides its lovely coffees, Dome Cafe serves great food too.

Dome’s Gourmet Chicken Pie
Gourmet Chicken Pie is one of the crowd’s favorites as one shouldn’t miss trying out this delicious pie consists of chicken and mushroom together with irresistible sauce/soup underneath the pie.

Dome’s Beef Lasagne
Beef Lasagne, however is a little bit disappointing because it just does not have the real taste of lasagna.

Dome’s Lemon Chill and Iced Lemon Tea
Lemon Chill is a revigorating and quite refreshing as it’s really thirst-quenching.
Price
- Lemon Chill – RM 11.00

Tags: Colonel Chicken Rice Combo, fast food, KFC
KFC has recently come out with Colonel Chicken Rice Combo which consists of 1 Colonel Chicken Rice, 2 pieces chicken, 1 chicken meatball soup, 1 (R) carbonated drink. The Colonel Chicken Rice uses fragrant rice just like your local chicken rice shop.
Except the chicken meatball soup which is too salty, the rice is quite edible, really. Colonel Chicken Rice Combo is the same price as your regular Snack Plate which the only difference is the coleslaw and whipped potato and a bun which is replaced with the Colonel Chicken Rice.

When it comes to pasta, not many people have The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in mind. Though they are popular with their ice-blended, their pasta is not too bad either.

Coffee Bean’s Tomato Herb Linguini
Tomato Herb Linguini is not the best-ever pasta but it’s quite filling despite the small portion. Also, don’t forget to check out its White Chocolate Dream latte.
