The Nyonya food in Pakcik Cafe @ Kompleks Antarabangsa is quite decent. Now, Pakcik Cafe has introduced some set lunch in order to attract more customers. Its set lunch include the main meal, usually rice or noodles and a glass of drink (choose between barley, cincau or bottled water).

Pakcik Cafe’s Fish Fillet with Butter Sauce with Rice

Fish Fillet with Butter Sauce with Rice is unexpectedly delicious. Usually, we get butter chicken, but butter fish? Surprisingly good.

Pakcik Cafe’s Potato Chicken with Rice

Potato Chicken with Rice is a decent dish especially if you love potatoes. The chicken tastes quite pleasing.

Pakcik Cafe’s Cincau and Barley

The Cincau and Barley comes with the set. You can also opt for bottled water if you want. The Cincau is quite alright but the Barley? Taste like they have added too much water in it.

Right in the ground floor of Kompleks Antarabangsa, just besides Pakcik Cafe is Restoran Q Thai which serve affordable Thai food for lunch.

Q Thai’s Thai Fried Rice with Beef

Thai Fried Rice with Beef is disappointing lacking the real taste since it is not spicy at all and does not even have eggs, how can it even qualifies as Thai Fried Rice in the first place?

Q Thai’s Mine Chicken with Mint Leaf Rice

Mine Chicken with Mint Leaf Rice fares better than the fried rice as the Mine Chicken is abundant and the Mint Leaf makes the entire dish more fragrant.

Q Thai’s Tom Yam Soup

Tom Yam Soup is a blast as it has adequate spicy and sour flavors that most Tom Yam soups nowadays lack. In fact, it is the best dishes of them all.

Q Thai’s Iced Lemon Tea (Cold) and White Coffee (Cold)

The White Coffee is surprisingly economical at RM 2.50, even cheaper than the Iced Lemon Tea which is priced at RM 3.50.

Right in the ground floor of Kompleks Antarabangsa, just outside Shin-Nichi Japanese Restaurant is Pakcik Cafe which serves Nyonya Food is quite popular during lunch hour on working days.

Pakcik Cafe’s Dry Chili Chicken with Rice

The Dry Chili Chicken with Rice is quite alright considering the affordable price.

Pakcik Cafe’s Sweet & Sour Chicken with Rice

The Sweet & Sour Chicken with Rice is not bad. Quite edible, really.

Pakcik Cafe’s Fresh Lime Juice and Local Coffee

The Fresh Lime Juice might not be the best ever lime juice, although the coffee is slightly alright — what more do you expect for just RM 2.00 for each of these drinks?

Overall, the food are good enough for your weekly lunch, but I don’t suggest you to make it a daily visit. The food is fine, but the service is horrible. If you ever drop by Pakcik Cafe, make sure you come early as the tables are usually all taken by 1pm.
