Cafe Milano’s Meatball Alfredo
The Meatball Alfredo is cheesy and just taste right unlike most pasta which either lack the sauce or is way too dry. The meatball is cooked to perfection.

Cafe Milano’s Meatball Bologna
Meanwhile, the Meatball Bologna is rich with tomato sauce and is best eaten while it’s hot.

Sri Nirwana Maju is famous for its banana leaf rice. Many people didn’t its nasi lemak is just as good. For RM 5.50, you can have a nasi lemak with chicken (choice between Fried Chicken and Masala Chicken). The nasi lemak is unique in a way I remember I used to purposely come to this place to take away as breakfast. The sambal is spicy but not too spicy while the egg is actually fried omelets, how’s that? Of course, the fried chicken is crunchy and delicious while the Masala chicken is just as good.

Tags: food court, Food Republic, fried carrot cake, fried prawn noodle, local food, Thye Hong
Thye Hong’s Fried Carrot Cake in Food Republic, Pavilion KL is quite famous. The fried carrot cake is not bad but the fried prawn noodle is a little soggy.
The service is actually quick except there is a staff who is quite slow and very illiterate. She can’t even understand the name of the food people tries to order until the boss has to personally take the order. That’s the result of hiring foreign labors with low pay.

In case you didn’t know, Wong Kok Char Chan Teng is located on the 6th floor of Pavilion KL.

The interior of Wong Kok, Pavilion is captivating

The ambiance in Wong Kok Char Chan Teng is definitely awesome

Baked Rice with Pork Chop in twin sauce
Baked Rice with Pork Chop in twin sauce is quite a steal. The portion is big and both the white and the red sauce taste just as good. If you are not a big-eater, you can actually share this with a friend. Also available is Baked Spaghetti with Pork Chop in twin sauce.

Nissin Noodle with fried egg and luncheon meat
If you fancy a cheaper eat that can still keep you satiated, then Nissin Noodle with fried egg and luncheon meat will be the perfect choice. As the name says, there are generous numbers of luncheon meat slices in the noodle and therefore can keep you full for only RM 6.30.

Coffee in H.K. style
Coffee in H.K. style is not your “everyday” iced coffee. The coffee, though filled with plenty of ice cubes, taste as good as any gourmet coffee. The only thing is, I wonder why they purposely use a straw with a tiny hole? So we can take longer to sip the coffee to enjoy the real aroma of the coffee? LoL!

Cappucino Coke
Cappucino Coke, meanwhile is a drink mixed with Cappuccino and Coke. As the mixture is well-balance, this is a really cool drink, good enough to give you a chilled-out feeling. Taste almost like my Iced Mocha Cola recipe.
Price
- Baked Rice with Pork Chop in twin sauce - RM 14.20

KFC has recently come out with Triple XL Burger, and although it’s not really that huge, 7-inch is like slightly bigger than those 6-inch burgers in Subway. Somehow, it tastes extremely good.

The interior of KFC Pavilion KL is astonishing
The combo set is quite worth it compared to the RM 6.60 ala carte because you also get the soft drink and a dessert, which is an ice-cream cup (Vanilla Orange).

Tags: chee cheong fun, duck noodle, Gurney Drive, ice kacang, local food, milkshake, Penang food
Gurney Drive is a restaurant in The Gardens, Mid Valley that serves local delicacies from Penang. Don’t be fooled by the descriptions of Gurney Drive, they are food stalls, but it’s a restaurant actually. The gimmick is to trick people into believing the food are cheap since most restaurants in The Gardens serve expensive food.

The entrance of Gurney Drive

Chee Cheong Fun
This is the worst Chee Cheong Fun I ever had — plain and blatant, it doesn’t even has any Yong Tao Foo and it’s priced at RM 8.00.

Duck Drumstick Noodle
Meanwhile, the Duck Drumstick Noodle (??) is up to par with price like RM 15.00, it is at least worth the money.

Next time you plan to go to Bandung, Indonesia for a vacation, don’t ever forget to get Amanda Brownies.

Amanda Brownies Kukus

Amanda Brownies Kukus
Amanda Brownies Kukus are simply irresistible. “Kukus” in English means “Steamed”. Though, I am not sure whether the brownies are really steamed. The brownies are baked to perfection, you can store them in the refrigerator for a long time. When you take them out, the brownies will be as fresh as they are just baked!

Amanda Brownies Bakar

Amanda Brownies Bakar
Amanda Brownies Bakar are just as good as Amanda Brownies Kukus. The only difference is there are some additional toppings on top. Really good stuff.

Love coffee? Love alcohol too? Then, Espressamente Illy at Pavilion KL is the place for you. The espressmente (Italian-styled coffee house) is located besides Esprit Cafe and opposite Starhill, Espressamente Illy won’t be hard to find.

The coffee bar in Espressanmente Illy looks more stunning than its coffee
Of course, the coffee looks and tastes stunning as well.

Angelo Nero
Angelo Nero is a strong drink with ingredients like Long Illy Espresso, amaretto Di Saromo, dark rum, liquid cream and ice cubes.
While, Ossessione tastes sweeter compares to Angelo Nero with ingredients such as Double Illy Espresso, Baileys, whiskey, ice cream and fresh liquid cream.

Cappuccino Freddo Greco
Cappuccino Freddo Greco is without alcohol and is mixed of Strong Double Illy Espresso, liquid sugar, cold fresh milk and ice cubes.

From top: Ossessione, Angelo Nero and Cappuccino Freddo Greco
I love coffee and I love alcohol - mixing both of them - heaven.
