There are too many choices when come to food, which is true when you are at Food Republic, the food court at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
Little Wok, originally from Suria KLCC’s Asian Flavours Food Court in Level 4 has also opened a stall in Food Republic. Serving mostly local dish in the fusion way, Chicken Chop Rice with Egg is nonetheless irresistible. Though cost nearly ten ringgit after 5% Government Tax, nothing in Pavilion is cheap. Even the Youtiao / Guozi is RM 1.20 for one piece!

The Buttered Chicken Rice at Wok Grill in Signature Food Court in Suria KLCC is one of the most delicious local cuisine you can find at an affordable price in Suria KLCC. However, do not expect to get value for money since the rental of the food court stall in Suria KLCC is not cheap, we don’t get too much buttered chicken.
For cheaper eats, one should really go and try Paradise Cake House’s Butter Chicken instead.

Tags: curry chicken noodles, kopitiam, local food, Meals Station
Meals Station is a kopitiam located in Wisma UOA II. Normally during lunch hour, the place is crowded with white-collar workers as the price for a decent meal is quite reasonable.
The Curry Chicken Noodles is one of my favorites on the menu. Though it’s a little bit oily, the noodles are cooked to perfection with the tasty and delicious curry with curry chicken.

Chili’s Molten Chocolate Cake is something to die for. If you plan to have dinner in Chili’s Grill & Bar with a few friends, this dessert is something you must not miss! Not to say one can’t finish the dessert if only two person’s eating it but nonetheless, plus dinner and drinks, it’s wiser not to overload your stomach. Still, it’s definitely hard to resist.

Caffe 1920 is one of my favorite place for pasta and pizza. It should be yours too.
There are quite a number of selections for its pasta – Tomato Base, Cream Base, Olive Oil Base and Oven Baked Pasta, which is, the Lasagna. Piccante which consists of turkey ham & beef bacon in a spicy cream sauce goes well with Penne as the pasta selection. While, Pollo & Funghi, which has chicken & mushroom in tomato & cream sauce goes well with Spaghetti.
Both the pasta are delectable with its rich sauce, it’s good to every bit!

Caffe 1920’s Pollo Funghi
While the pasta is good, the pizza is not that bad as well. Diavola, a pizza that consists of tomato, cheese, beef pepperoni, red chili flakes, is tantalizing as it’s thin and crispy just like all the pizzas in Caffe 1920.

Meanwhile, the drinks are quite lovely, unlike most places that serve good food, which in return, usually have bad drinks.
Cappucino Freddo is a really icy cold glass of ice cappuccino.

Caffe Freddo is a cold espresso coffee with whipped cream topping.

Hometown Kopitiam is yet another new-age kopitiam that has swarmed our nation lately.
The coffee is worth it while the best thing here is the Nasi Lemak, of course. Though the price is a little high for Nasi Lemak in a kopitiam, the Nasi Lemak is quite enjoyable. Not the best around town though.

Hometown Kopitiam’s Nasi Lemak
The Chee Cheong Fun is only so-so, I rather pay double to eat the Nasi Lemak. Then again, I rather pay double the price of the Nasi Lemak here and eat at Madam Kwan’s.

People love buttered prawns, especially foreigners in Malaysia. But, have you ever tried buttered chicken?
You can find good food like Buttered Chicken Rice in Paradise, a cake house in Desa Setapak, Wangsa Maju. Like many cake houses, Paradise serves food too!
The Butter Chicken Rice tastes quite good you’ll definitely come back. But the Bubble Teas are not recommended.

The chicken rice in NZ Curry House (located besides the car park of Menara Standard Chartered in Jalan Sultan Ismail) is one of the best chicken rice I have ever eaten. You just got to try it for two reasons – it’s served faster than other food during the peak hour, and of course, because it’s just that damn good.
